This summer, we spent three weeks road tripping through some of the most iconic national parks close to our homebase here in Northern Colorado—Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Glacier, and Rocky Mountain. Before we hit the road, we loaded up up the trunk with hundreds of shirts, hats and glasses to hand out along the trail to unsuspecting, like-minded individuals and their families!

Grand Teton National Park Camping

Grand Teton with its rugged peaks and desolate wilderness that surround the town of Jackson seemed like the perfect place to start. We came away inspired by the bold lines and simple beauty of the place, paired with that old-world and Western charm that resonates with you even after you are long gone. We are thrilled to showcase our new prints in the upcoming weeks. If you're in town, be sure to check out MADE and their curated collection of outdoor goods including some staple items from Black Lantern.

Yellowstone and Glacier brought their own unique vibes. From the geysers and bison in Yellowstone to the glaciers and alpine meadows in Glacier, each park had something different to offer. We used those experiences to create prints that capture both the wildness and the calm of these incredible places. Handing out gear along the way felt like a natural extension of what we do—connecting people to the places that inspire us.

Yellowstone National Park Black Lantern Road Trip

Our last stop was a reminiscent trip through Rocky Mountain National Park and staying a few nights in our old shop's home base, Estes Park. The high mountain lakes and wide-open skies reminded us why we’re so connected to these landscapes and why we continue to do what we do. The people we met on this trip, and the places we saw remind us of our roots and now matter how much things change and evolve our company will always be rooted in the wild.
